As Seen on TV

That should be my middle name – As Seen on TV!  When some irresistible offer comes across late night TV, I run for the credit card. What?  You’ll double my order if I call in the next 10 minutes, get grandma off the phone, I have a call to make.

I do it so you don’t have to.  Grass that grows on a brick?  Great, but apparently not of my front lawn.  Pedi Paws wasn’t exactly the day at the spa for Fido – who wanted nothing and I do mean nothing to do with it.    There was magic glue to mend my clothes – can’t speak to this one – never got around to using it – but did mange to spill it on the keyboard and it did a pretty good job gluing the r&e keys together!  Have to admit I do like the Pedi Egg.

So try as I might to resist, I finally gave in an bought the Topsy Turvy, which promises to be “World’s Easiest Way to Grow Tomatoes.”  I’ve had limited success growing tomatoes in the past – I tend to forget to water them and all the staking gets tedious.    And while the packaging promises that my staking days are over – it is quick to remind me I need to water frequently – every day as a matter of fact.  OK, OK – I can remember to water.

I followed the planting directions.  I even watered.  In 60 days I will either have bushels of tomatoes or another “As Seen on TV’ disaster to add to the ever growing collection.  I even went so far as to plant a little basil to compliment my future salads.  Stay tuned for the results.

With limited yard space, my intent is to develop a potted garden for edibles.  wish me luck!
