Recently, we had a visitor at the cabin.  He was a curious fellow, perhaps seeking a little honey.

The only species of bears in California and Nevada are black bears. However, they do range in color from blonde to black, with cinnamon brown being the most common color in both states.

I remember our first trip to Tahoe – the smells, the water, the air – it felt like a magical place.  I immediately knew this would be our home away from home.  And the dogs seemed to think so, too.
